About UNITAS NELLA
"Rooted in faith and values, our legacy of excellence in education has nurtured and Maintained."
A Brief History of UNITAS NELLA
Unitas Nella Pre and Primary School is a private institution owned by the Unitas Sisters for Africa. Our foundation is built upon Catholic Church principles while adhering to government regulations through the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
The journey began in the 1970s when our first UNITAS missionaries for Africa, Dr. Petronella and Dr. Maria, established a pre-school focused on better child upbringing. During the socialist era in 1975, when private institutions were nationalized, operations were temporarily suspended.
In 2015, we proudly revived our mission with just 5 pre-school children. By 2019, we expanded to include primary education with 24 pupils in class one. Our dedication was officially recognized in 2020 with registration number EM 18194.
